no essays or rants this week, just letting you all know whats goin' down.
So story starts after i got back from my research trip (photo's of which i am still to bring to this site, but they're worth the wait).
and my father decided than and there on the day of my return that he would be selling the house.
I've moved out from my childhood home of 20 years to the suburb of Marsfield, a sunny place not too far away from the university with my partner and, despite an absence of money, an all too noticeable presence of looming academia and a cranky neighbor who lives downstairs who says we can't use our plumbing after eleven o'clock, we're doing great.
Its been interesting living independantly (despite the youth support agency not recognising it) but i'm enjoying myself. Swords are hanging next to watchmen posters, nicknacks on the shelves, an extensive dvd collection, stereo, guitars, an extra big bed. its all good.
New subjects this semester include Star Gazing, making fun of ancient roman politics and poking at animals! its gonna be fantastic!
I can't muchly ad anything more at present but i'll be more in touch.
off to work i go!
free tibet!
